The LSHS STEM Committee reviews applications and admits students based on GPA, standardized test scores, attendance history, disciplinary record, and teacher recommendations.
Applications must be completed electronically and are due by December 10th.
All admissions decisions will be made by February 6th and sent home via U.S. Mail.
Student commitment letters are due back to us by February 15th. We kindly ask that you return your letter, regardless of whether or not you choose the LSHS STEM Academy. You may send your letter via U.S. Mail, drop it off at LSHS, or scan it and send it via email.
You may appeal an admissions decision in writing. Your letter will be held until the end of the year when the student's application will be reevaluated. Reevaluation decisions are final.
